If you thrive in a varied role and enjoy working with people, this opportunity is for you. About the role: As an integral part of our support team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:
- Accounts receivable credit control – invoice processing and follow-up
- Administrative duties – including insurance and purchasing
- Customer account setup – processing account applications and entering into accounting system
- Payment processing and reconciliation – receipting customer payments and reconciling with bank
- Business support – data entry and follow up for operations and QHSE teams
- Weekly and monthly credit reporting
- Accounting experience – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Financial Accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with Accounting Systems such as Xero, Reckon or NetSuite
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised with good time management skills to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communicator to work with a range of both internal and external people
- Self-motivated and results-driven, even under pressure
- Proficient at data entry and mathematics
- Excellent command of English, with good grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- A pleasant and confident telephone manner
- The ability to work closely with the team to meet client deadlines
- A proactive and positive attitude, ready to tackle any task
- A postgraduate in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics would be favourable
