About the role: As a Software Specialist in the Remediation & Wealth Tribe , you'll be part of our Broker squad that supports the ASB Securities systems that runs our Online Share Trading services . We triage, problem-solve, enhance and maintain the systems and the processes they support. You'll be part of a program/project at the forefront of working to deliver and support a secure, functional and performant ecosystem to our customers. You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale. We advocate Agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers. We are looking for someone with a mix of share trading system experience and technical skills to support the following activities:

1. Creating Agile testing strategies and plans.
2. Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end and obtain sign-off.
3. Reviewing requirements and specifications.
4. Verifying and validating functionality being developed.
5. Analysing and reporting test results.
6. Collaborate with internal team, wider technology teams and vendor partners to ensure the right level of test coverage is achieved.

About you: We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our quality, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of Testing and deliver products that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who has:

1. 10+ years of software test engineering experience.
2. Proven knowledge across functional, system, integration, API testing, performance and end to end testing.
3. Contributing and maintaining project level test strategies/test plans that include approach for technical testing components.
4. Responsible for test artefacts/test deliverables and providing test sign off against test coverage, execution, defects, and risks.
5. Develop strong positive stakeholder relationships over a continuous release stream.
6. Develop sustainable and agile test processes.
7. Manage complex integrated test environments and test data.
8. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
9. Fosters proactive and continuous improvements to the Focus Area & Testing Chapter.
10. Experience of testing Online Share Trading platforms, i.e., experience in E2E testing of platforms like CMC markets, Sharesies will be beneficial.

In addition, any of the following would be an advantage:

1. Working knowledge of performance testing preferably Load Runner.
2. Certified in ISTQB Fundamental.
