We are looking for a talented Android Developer to design and develop high-quality applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile app development, user experience, and the latest trends in Android technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with third-party libraries, APIs, and integrate backend services with Android apps.
- Identify and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Android best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, technologies, and trends.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality releases.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Android Developer (4 + years, based on your needs).
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to backend services.
- Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and dependency management tools like Gradle.
- Familiarity with modern Android development tools and concepts, such as Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and coroutines.
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient in version control systems like Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
