Consultant Mobile Development

We are looking for a talented Android Developer to design and develop high-quality applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile app development, user experience, and the latest trends in Android technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with third-party libraries, APIs, and integrate backend services with Android apps.
• Identify and fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Android best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, technologies, and trends.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as an Android Developer (4 + years, based on your needs).
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and dependency management tools like Gradle.
• Familiarity with modern Android development tools and concepts, such as Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and coroutines.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
