Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager - Commercial (Shipping & Freight Finalization)

Job Requirements:

1. Develop market intelligence on ocean freight, including demand-supply dynamics and pricing trends.
2. Develop sea freight cost estimation tools to evaluate vessel working costs (chartering, fuel, and other applicable costs).
3. Finalization of sea freight.
4. Administer sea freight contracts, including standardizing marine clauses.
5. PDA (Port Disbursement Account) evaluation and payments.
6. Handle laytime calculations, confirm demurrage/dispatch claims, and vessel nominations.

1. 12–15 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or vessel chartering.
2. Must have handled import.
3. Experience in PDA evaluations, demurrage/dispatch settlements, and contract administration.
4. Knowledge of port operations, vessel scheduling, and shipping documentation processes.

1. Degree in Commerce/ Business Administration/ Logistics, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management will be an advantage.

1. Strong understanding of sea freight cost estimation and market intelligence.
2. Skill in techno-commercial evaluation, benchmarking, and comparative analysis.
3. Familiarity with chartering contracts, marine clauses, and dispute resolution.
4. Good negotiation and analytical skills.
5. Competence in preparing MIS reports and dashboards for key operational metrics
