We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power System Engineer to join our team, specializing in grid simulation studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced power system analyses and simulations to support the planning, operation, and optimization of renewable energy projects. Responsibilities
- Develop and validate models for renewable energy integration with grid and energy storage systems.
- Perform steady-state, dynamic, and transient analysis of power systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess system impact studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and stability assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations summarizing findings, methodologies, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Support the development of innovative methodologies and tools for grid simulation and modeling.
- Engage in project management activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams to design solutions for emerging challenges in power systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in power system technology and simulation tools.
- M.E. / M.Tech Power system or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in power system.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and grid operations.
- Proficiency in power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD,ETAP, PowerWorld, MATLAB/Simulink, DIgSILENT, etc.).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for automation and tool development is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
