AWS Devops Engineer

Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Chennai / Madurai Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, and expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly using Terraform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud solutions. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure on AWS. - Write and maintain clear, robust, and efficient Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources. - Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud-based solutions with software applications. - Monitor and optimize the performance of the cloud infrastructure. - Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained in all cloud architectures. - Lead continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and accurate manner. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance system functionality and end-user experience. - Document all operational, configuration, or other procedures to maintain service continuity. Required Skills: - Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, IAM, RDS, and Route 53. - Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl. - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a cloud environment. - Certifications in AWS and Terraform are highly desirable.
