Junior SAP Technical Writer/Information Developer

Description We are looking for a Junior SAP Technical Writer/Information Developer to join our team. The successful candidates will become an integral part of one of our project teams and report directly to the Team Lead. They will be involved in a range of content design, development, and management tasks for a diverse client base, using a range of word processing, authoring, and content management tools. Further training and mentoring will be provided on tools, processes, and TWi methodologies as required. Employment Type Permanent, full-time. • Create content for our clients that is:
• High quality and focused on defined objectives.
• In accordance with any required client styles and standards and guidelines.
• Appropriate for the applicable target audience and industry sector.
• Based on input and sign-off from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Developed using a range of cutting-edge tools and technologies.
• Delivered on time and according to client deadlines.
• Assist in editing content for other information developers.
• Contribute to internal company projects.
• Assist in training less experienced team members when appropriate.
• Undertake training on new tools and processes as required.

Requirements

• Third level qualification in technical writing, English, IT, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient in word processing, content authoring and content management environments.
• Some knowledge of DITA and XML authoring.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and with client contacts.
• Able to manage and report on assigned tasks in accordance with agreed priorities.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Has a general knowledge of the industry, and open to learning about evolving knowledge transfer trends and methodologies.
• Committed to understanding and applying quality processes.
• Able to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
• Identifies and tries to resolve problems using own initiative where appropriate.
• Flexible and proactive, display a can-do attitude.

Desirable

• SAP or similar ERP software knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with e-learning tools an advantage.
