[Job ID:734208] Responsibilities: Ensure marine safety, operational quality, and efficiency by supervising and monitoring vessel navigation. Issue company warnings/circulars from the Marine Department and communicate them to ship managers. Analyze incidents and trouble reports to develop corrective measures. Monitor vessels in operation, providing safety alerts and weather warnings to ensure safe navigation. Conduct vessel inspections and office audits for ship managers, and hold safety meetings to review progress. Summarize KPIs and HSEQ analysis, review tank cleaning plans, and oversee cleaning progress. Manage documentation, suggesting improvements or changes to procedures and manuals as needed. Gather and disseminate information on new marine regulations and safety/security circulars from third parties. Prepare company applications for approval as necessary. Requirements: Sailing experience aboard tanker vessels, with relevant experience in chemical tanker companies. 2–3 years of relevant experience in tanker operations or working with tanker companies. Navigation 1st Officer’s Certificate of Competency (COC) with at least 5 years of experience on tankers, preferably chemical tankers. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
