Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in writing DevOps-as-Code to allow software application development teams to specify their DevOps pipeline flows, infrastructure configurations, and deployment settings all in code that can be versioned and stored alongside application code.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization.
• Define deployment packages, infrastructure, environments, release templates etc. in YAML
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions.
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers.
• Develop scripts to automate visualization.
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes.
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
• Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.

• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.
• Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (at least one) Bash, JavaScript, Python
• Amazon Web Services: IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda
