Description and Requirements Employment Type : Full-time Experience Level : Mid Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Engineer to manage and support our Windows and Intel-based systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable IT services. Key Responsibilities Manage and upgrade Windows servers. Both in-place and migration. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related services. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Intel-based platforms. Especially Lenovo hardware. Perform monthly OS patching, application upgrades. Deploy and manage virtual environments using VMware/Nutanix technologies. Managing NAS storage and iSCSI solutions. VM deployments and day2 operations for VMs. Perform capacity upgrades (Scaling up/ Scaling out). Implementing security best practices, fixing monthly vulnerability scan. Working in Commvault backup solutions and Trend Micro Deep security. Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, and processes. Inventory management in ITSM and track inventory of Assets. Yearly audit works like Host Compliance Report and ASA. Collaborating with application teams and supporting for incidents. Perform patches and upgrades during approved maintenance window and on call support. Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems is a bonus. Required Skills and Qualifications Education : Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience : Years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments (e.g., 2016, 2019 and 2022). Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management. Work experience in a regulated environment. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix). Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Commvault, NetBackup). Patch Management tools (e.g., BMC, WSUS). Certifications : Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) preferred. VMware certifications (e.g., VCP) or Nutanix certifications are a plus. ITIL Foundation. Key Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
