Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our organization's entire IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and driving technological innovation to support our business goals.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Ensure the security and integrity of company data through robust cybersecurity measures
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity
- Oversee IT project management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Provide regular reports on IT performance, projects, and budgets to senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or senior IT roles
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, and cybersecurity
- Proven experience in project management and IT service delivery
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and align IT initiatives with business goals
- Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations
- Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus
