Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Chief Data Scientist (CDS). This hybrid role combines strategic oversight with hands-on expertise in full-stack development, artificial intelligence (AI), and data science, with a particular focus on Electroencephalography (EEG). The ideal candidate will architect and drive technology and data strategies, lead multidisciplinary teams, and innovate at the intersection of software, AI, and neuroscience. They will be instrumental in building scalable platforms and applying AI/ML to unlock the potential of EEG data for transformative applications. • Define and execute the company’s overarching technology strategy to align with business goals.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and efficient full-stack solutions.
• Lead efforts in system integration, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI, to maintain a competitive edge.

• Develop and implement AI/ML models with a focus on EEG signal processing and predictive analytics.
• Oversee the design and execution of data pipelines, ensuring the efficient handling of EEG and other datasets.
• Leverage advanced AI techniques to enhance EEG data interpretation, including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Lead research and development (R&D) initiatives for EEG-based AI innovations.

• Drive the development of front-end and back-end applications, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate AI/ML algorithms into software platforms.
• Ensure robust API development and third-party integrations for enhanced product functionality.

• Collaborate with product teams to define and deliver EEG-centered products and solutions.
• Lead prototyping, testing, and deployment of full-stack applications infused with AI capabilities.
• Ensure the alignment of technical development with customer needs and market trends.

• Build, mentor, and lead diverse teams of engineers, data scientists, and developers.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence across technical teams.

• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executives, investors, and clients.
• Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and collaborative partnerships related to AI, EEG, and full-stack development.

• Expertise in full-stack development with proficiency in frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, and Django.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Strong background in EEG signal acquisition, processing, and analysis.
• Experience with data engineering, cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and scalable architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, R, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with EEG tools and platforms (e.g., OpenBCI, BrainVision, NeuroPype).

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles with exposure to full-stack development and AI.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with EEG technologies and data analysis.
• Proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading end-to-end development of software platforms.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.

• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in healthcare, neurotechnology, or medical device development.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks for EEG-based products.
