What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?

• We are seeking a skilled expert from the Network and Information Security segment to join its growing Global Information Security organization.
• This position requires in-depth experience and knowledge of Cyber Security Technology with specialization in firewalls. The successful candidate will get an opportunity to work on cybersecurity technologies.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to network & security system management for all Colgate manufacturing locations & cloud, investigating network & security problems with priority to minimize business disruption. The individual should be experienced in security architecture, design, engineering and supporting network & security configurations over hybrid environments that include on-premise and public clouds, such as GCP. Who are you… You are a functional expert

• Understand the Colgate architecture and leverage Palo Alto Firewall / Panorama technology standards for supporting business functionalities and project implementation activities.
• Proficiency in handling Palo Alto configurations and advanced diagnostic investigation.
• Keep the Firewall equipment up to date with the right security patches and plan regular maintenance to keep them up and running.
• Prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams and equipment configurations with defined standards.
• Perform critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to isolate and diagnose Performance & Reliability issues.
• Proactive monitor and analyze landscape performance to anticipate problems and take corrective actions.
• Expertise in reviewing configurations and providing suggestions as part of continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll need…(Required)

• Engineering Graduate with 3 to 5 years of experience in Network and Security area.
• Hands-on experience on Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
• Proficient in administering and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Solid grasp of networking principles like routing & switching.
• Solid grasp of security principles.
• Professional certification in CCNA and PCNSE.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically.
• Ability to investigate and identify root causes.
• Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies.

What you’ll need…(Preferred)

• Certification in Cybersecurity and Splunk.
