Job Title : Business Development Manager - Domestic Pharmaceutical Formulations (Contract Manufacturing) Locations : Mumbai, New Delhi, Dehradun Job Description: We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Business Development Managers to join our team, specializing in contract manufacturing and CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) for pharmaceutical formulations in the Indian market. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in business development and a proven track record of success. Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the domestic market for contract manufacturing and CDMO of pharmaceutical formulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutual benefit for both the company and the client.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics to achieve and exceed targets.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Science Background preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on contract manufacturing and CDMO.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience working with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and other relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
