• Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
• Building server remotely and configure based on application requirement
• Managing physical servers such as HP, Lenovo rackmount and blade chassis
• Installing and upgrading Windows servers OS such as 2012,2016 etc.
• Installing and upgrading VMware ESXi 6.5,6.7 & 7.0
• Install, Upgrade and Manage the vcenter 6.5,6.7 & 7.0
• Perform maintenance such as patches, drivers and firmware upgrades
• Providing technical support and Monitoring system performance.
• Troubleshooting system and server errors.
• Managing file servers, print server, DNS, DHCP, RDS, Web servers
• Monitor all system alerts and assist to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software.
• Raising case with Vendors and work collaboratively to resolve hardware issues reported.
• Installing operating systems security patches and bug fixes using WSUS & other products such as bladelogic, SCCM added advantage
• Microsoft licensing and VMware license knowledge is preferred
• Analyze system for failure and assist to restore files with help of operating system.
• Install and configure various commercial products on window operating systems.
• Providing first level support on troubleshooting critical websites, such as restarting application pool and websites from IIS management console.
• Monitor certificates (external and Internal) applied and renew it before expiration.
• Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds.
• Implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template management.
• Identify vulnerabilities on servers and remediate at the earliest to prevent impact.
• Knowledge on VMware horizon , vROps, SDDC , VSAN, VCDR
• Knowledge on Microsoft azure to support ASR , Patch management
• Enabling automation to reduce the manual tasks using powershell

• Proven work experience as a Windows & VMware Administrator is preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of Windows & VMware server setup, manage, and maintenance.
• Experience with application support, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
• Hands-on experience on blade servers and rack mount servers, preferably HP and Lenovo servers.
• Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
• MCSA, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
• A minimum of 5-9 years’ experience as a Windows & VMware engineer.
• Depth knowledge on File server, Print server, DFS, DHCP, DNS, RDS, certificate management etc
• AD skills are also preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to take ownership
• Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to resolve priority issues out of business hours.
