Visual Merchandiser - Old Khaki - Gateway Mall

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement window campaigns aligned with the company's brand standards and marketing objectives.
2. Implement seasonal and promotional displays timeously.
3. Ensure all visual merchandising elements, including window displays, in-store displays, and signage, are current, clean, and well-maintained.
4. Maintain housekeeping and uphold our visual merchandising standards to boost sales.
5. Collaborate with the marketing department to execute brand strategies through both window and in-store displays.
6. Utilize space efficiently to maximize product visibility and accessibility.
7. Uphold business strategy from a visual merchandising perspective and maintain visual merchandising standards as communicated via Head Office Visual Merchandising communication.
8. Be responsible for maintaining the working order of all Silent Sales Signage within the store.
9. Order Visual Merchandising fixtures together with the Field Visual Merchandiser.
10. Execute Visual Merchandising instructions from the Head Office team to ensure that the brand strategy is maintained.
11. Identify and optimize in-store opportunities to increase turnover.
12. Exceed customer expectations by utilizing effective selling techniques.
13. Maximize and drive sales by identifying opportunities to increase turnover.
14. Establish professional relationships with customers, providing friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance and advice.
15. Adhere to stock loss controls within the store.

Minimum Requirements

Essential

1. Matric or Equivalent.
2. 1-year visual merchandising in-store experience.
3. 2 years’ work experience within retail.
4. Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment.
5. Microsoft Computer Proficiency (must be able to complete PowerPoint presentations on campaigns/promotions and provide written feedback).

Advantageous

1. Additional education or training in visual merchandising or a related field is a plus.
2. Knowledge of current fashion trends/outdoor lifestyle (depending on the brand applying for).
