Construction Building Junior Project Manager

Our client in Milnerton, Cape Town is looking for a Construction Building Junior Project Manager with 2-3 years of experience in leading small installation teams and projects. If you are technically aligned with some understanding of AutoCAD or similar design programs, even better. You need to come from a Construction/Building working environment as you will have similar projects to oversee.

Minimum Requirements

1. Matric
2. Project Management Certificate
3. 2-3 years of project management experience (Products, Decor, Styling, Building Materials, Construction, Building, and/or audio products)
4. Driver’s license is a must.
5. Some knowledge or experience with AutoCAD is an advantage.
6. Dealing with outsourced suppliers is a must-have.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with planning and running of projects.
2. Assist with the planning and maintain budgets and expenses on projects.
3. Overseeing project costs, budgets, and deliverables.
4. Ensure good practice and control of all outgoing and incoming stock for projects.
5. Coordinate all job cards, stock, and logistics of projects.
6. Strong management/supervision and planning skills – small teams.
7. Ability to coordinate projects from office and onsite.
8. Contractual experience in managing and overseeing agreements with suppliers and customers.
9. Oversee outsourced contractors on projects.
10. Customer/client focused.
