Job Title: Java/J2EE Lead with Elasticsearch Expertise Location: Bengaluru / remote Experience: 8+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture & Design:

• Lead the design and development of Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications with a focus on search functionality using Elasticsearch .
• Architect scalable, high-performance, and secure search and analytics solutions to support BFSI clients' requirements.

1. Development & Implementation:

• Implement complex search queries, aggregations, and filters using Elasticsearch APIs .
• Optimize Elasticsearch clusters for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate Elasticsearch with Java-based microservices and ensure seamless data indexing and retrieval.

1. Data Management:

• Design and manage data pipelines for real-time indexing and data synchronization with Elasticsearch.
• Manage Elasticsearch clusters, including performance tuning, shard management, and backup/restore strategies.

1. Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and DevOps teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Elasticsearch best practices.

1. Security & Compliance:

Implement security measures within Elasticsearch, such as role-based access control (RBAC) and TLS encryption . Ensure compliance with industry standards and BFSI-specific regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with a strong focus on building scalable enterprise applications. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch in designing and implementing search solutions. Proficiency in Spring Boot , REST APIs , and microservices architecture . Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch APIs , Kibana , and Logstash (ELK Stack). Experience in performance tuning and index optimization in Elasticsearch. Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and CI/CD pipelines . Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Kafka , RabbitMQ , or other messaging systems. Elasticsearch certifications (Elastic Certified Engineer) are a plus. Proficiency in Agile methodologies . Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
