Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Compressor Experience Essential)

Candidate Profile:

1. High energy individual. Must have a very hands-on approach
2. Electrical diploma with an interest in Mechanical, or have plans to achieve such or higher
3. Wireman's certificate
4. The capability to fit with company culture is a very strong determinant.
5. Afrikaans & English (Strong communication skills essential)

1. Maintenance of air compressors, nitrogen generators and carbon dioxide scrubbers;
2. Electro-mechanical fault finding;
3. Project installation of new equipment on site, including pipe-work and electro-mechanical assembly;
4. On-site client liaison and Sales: Apart from the principle technical servicing role, the incumbent is expected to represent and promote the company's services on offer.

1. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
2. Organised, able to work independently with a very hands-on approach;
3. Must have a demonstrated interest in mechanical equipment and an appetite to understand the company's equipment control software (Automation);
4. Comfortable to work under stress and should be willing to travel locally;
5. Must be innovative and self-reliant and contribute to the effectiveness of the company;
6. Compliant with the company's policies on Safety and behavioural standards.
