Role and Responsibilities: Develop and incorporate PLC and SCADA control systems tailored to project specifications. Integrate intelligent sensors, machine PLCs, HMI, and SCADA with SCHOTT standard software to gather data and monitor machine or production performance, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Focus on retrofitting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, primarily using Siemens technology. Collaborate closely with the Operation Technology (OT) team in Germany, production teams, other global plants to setup / roll out new projects within the SCHOTT OT architecture (training will be provided). Support on machine trouble shooting when necessary. Requirements: Minimum of a diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, with >2years of experience. Proficient understanding of automation technologies such as PLCs and SCADA, industrial protocols including OPC-UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP, as well as basic network architecture. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Experienced in using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, and HMI programming. Capable of reading and writing Siemens S7 PLC (ladder) codes and programming HMI touch panels or SCADA systems (WinCC) or equivalent. Knowledgeable in programming languages like C++, Python, and basic PC-based control systems including C++, C#, .NET, and embedded systems development. Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Process Control Systems (PCS). Logical thinker and quick learner. Familiarity with SQL and Linux OS is beneficial. Project management experience is a plus. Experience with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Robotics is also advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
