Job Description:

Geophysical consultant and technical manager with 10-15 years of technical and managerial expertise and skills. Competent and proven in completing and leading many integrated geophysical and geological projects for mineral exploration and geohazards characterization and modeling.
Performing feasibility studies and resource and risk assessment in project characterization and recommending the best geophysical techniques in different environments.
Competent in studies of modeling, petrophysics, well logging, well placements, fluid discrimination, lithology, mineralogy, and formation properties.
Expert in exploration methods of seismic, magnetic, gravity, electromagnetic, and remote sensing; applying geophysical data processing, inversion, analysis, and interpretation; and utilizing advanced techniques of artificial intelligence (AI), deterministic, stochastic, and geo-statistical methods.
Proven results of integrated geophysical and geological interpretation, inversion, rock physics, attributes, processing, and subsurface mapping.

Investigation Methods Knowledge:

Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP)
Seismic Data: 2D & 3D data including acquisition, processing, velocity modeling, and interpretation
Potential Fields: gravity, magnetics, and electromagnetic processing, inversion, and interpretation.
Passive Seismic: interpretation and calibration with other investigation methods.
Remote Sensing: data analysis for mineralogy identification and surface features.
Data management: data classifications, storage, and accessibility.

Geophysical Techniques Expertise:

Interpretation, inversion, rock physics, seismic attributes, seismic processing including pre and post-stack depth migration, and subsurface mapping.
Seismic inversion of all types; pre and post-stack deterministic, stochastic, and AVA.
Rock Physics and Fluid Substitution, and Quantitative Interpretation
Attributes to map fractures, faults, lithofacies, and geobodies.
Subsurface imaging, velocity modeling, and migration.

General Knowledge Requirements:

Seismic, potential fields, and remote sensing data processing and acquisition.
Regional geology of Saudi Arabia
G&G software such as Petrel, DSD-Landmark, Jason, Hampson-Russel, RokDoc, Gocad, Geodepth, Epos, Promax, VoxelGeo, Inter-well, and Easy Trace.

Training and mentoring young geophysicists and developing 5-10 year plans. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Geophysics.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Geophysics with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Must be Saudi.
