Mechanical Technician

Summary Support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing/servicing and optimizing all facilities rotating and static equipment, in a safe and orderly fashion as per the HSE standards and Enerflex and project requirements. Principal Responsibilities and Duties

1. Perform planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
2. Perform maintenance reports, preventive and corrective.
3. Perform troubleshooting and recommend action for failure avoidance.
4. Prepare list of parts and materials required for maintenance activities.
5. Perform preventative/planned, corrective maintenance and supporting operations leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their production and quality goals.
6. Develop and follow procedures and processes as directed by Supervisor and Project design requirements.

Qualifications

1. Technical or Engineering degree in Maintenance or Mechanical.
2. 8+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of reciprocating engines and compressors.
3. Experience on performing engines and compressor maintenance activities, CAT 3600, Waukesha VHP and Ariel.
4. Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance of natural gas compression and processing facilities.
5. Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic is a plus.
6. Strong familiarity with O&M activities in a gas compression plant.
