Job Title: Senior Paralegal Location: Portland, Oregon Salary: $85,000-$95,000 DOE Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking a Senior Paralegal for our client based in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of paralegal experience, specializing in corporate, estate planning, or employee benefits law Responsibilities :
- Provide legal counsel and guidance on matters pertaining to transactions and legal issues
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos, letters, and contracts as required
- Assist in managing board governance, minutes, and additional corporate affairs
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and vendors regarding litigation and other relevant issues
- Aid the legal team by reviewing and analyzing a variety of documents including trust documents, powers of attorney, medallion signature guarantees, and other estate planning documents
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in corporate, estate planning, or employee benefits law
- Knowledge of financial institution regulations and compliance
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
