Job Responsibilities

• Develop web mapping applications and geo-processing tools to support GIS.
• Understand customer requirements and develop GIS applications to meet business needs.
• Analyze customer issues and provide resolutions.
• Make presentations and demos so that customers clearly understand the GIS application.
• Maintain and support applications according to changing business requirements.
• Assist in data integrity and quality assurance activities to ensure application stability.
• Stay current with the latest developments in the GIS field.
• Recommend new technologies and techniques for application development.
• Ensure that application architecture meets business requirements.
• Design, code, and integrate applications with database management systems.
• Test applications and perform bug fixes.
• Develop system problem reports and recommendations.
• Propose development initiatives to increase programming efficiency.
• Assist in developing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Work effectively in a team to develop high-quality GIS solutions.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• ND/B-degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with GIS experience in Esri products.
• 2+ years IT experience in applications development, all of which are in delivering projects using ArcObjects.
• At least 2+ years as a C# developer.
• It will be beneficial to have: ASP.Net, Geodatabase, SQL Server, and ArcGIS for Portal.
