Job Description

To implement the Analytics standards in retail customer pricing within our Broader Africa segment, contributing to the monetisation of data through the development and delivery of advanced mathematical models and business principles that find hidden patterns and associations in data used to influence business strategy, inform channel design, and make predictions on the behaviour of clients. Are you someone who can:- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Have a working knowledge of the drivers of credit risk management and its impact on pricing
- Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
- Enable an inclusive culture that upholds FNB's diversity and transformation guiding principles
- Drive the implementation and adoption of Analytics strategy in allocated Business Units in achievement of information management strategy
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development
- Manage the business modelling and analytics value chain across area of responsibility in delivery of business strategy
- Manage the delivery of advanced mathematical models and analytical solutions for area of responsibility to ensure required standards and practices and business value creation
- Establish and embed a data-driven culture throughout area of responsibility
- Enhance and influence strategic business decisions through the provision of analytical insight in delivery of business strategy
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
- Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness, and report on variances
- Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Commerce, Physics, or Actuarial Science
- Preferred Qualification: Postgraduate in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Commerce, Physics, or Actuarial Science
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar environment, of which 1 - 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
