Staff Nurse I - Riyadh - King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research...

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research, Riyadh We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at the L1 Pediatric Emergency Section in Riyadh.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance. As a leader in this role, you will demonstrate leadership competencies while in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Total Patient Care : Provides patient care as assigned, adhering to core standards of patient care and established policies and evidence-based practices.
  • Care Planning and Evaluation : Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care, ensuring effective discharge planning for each patient.
  • Length of Stay/Waiting Time Reduction : Contributes to unit-specific goals by decreasing length of stay/waiting time, working collaboratively with Case Management to achieve objectives.
  • Documentation : Accurately documents all relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Equipment Failures and Safety Issues : Reports equipment failures, safety issues, and reduction of supply inventory to Head Nurse or designee.
  • Collaborative Partnerships : Demonstrates collaborative multi-disciplinary partnerships to improve quality patient care, advocating for patients and families.
  • Patient Safety : Promotes a safe environment, identifying areas of risk to Head Nurse or designee, and complies with policies for personal and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Education : Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required.
  • Experience : Two (2) years of Nursing experience with Bachelor's or four (4) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required. No experience is required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree.
  • Certifications : Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure is required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and professional standards. Identifies patient needs by establishing rapport with patients and healthcare professionals. Promotes high-quality nursing care to patients in line with medical prescriptions, adhering to dialysis and internal company standards, to contribute to good health status and quality of life. #J-18808-Ljbffr
