Chargebee | Director of Product Management

Chargebee is looking for an inspirational product leader to help us shape the future of accounting solutions for subscription-based businesses. As the Director of Product Management, you will own and drive the life cycle of new features and products, from high-level concept design to delivery and end-of-life. Your team will deliver on key areas of our accounting solution, ensuring businesses can manage their finances efficiently.We are rapidly growing the Chargebee accounting ecosystem and team. Your impact will empower Revenue Operations teams worldwide to manage their finances quickly and efficiently while continuously introducing new features faster and reliably.So what will you be doing? (Responsibilities)You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle of Chargebee's accounting solution, driving innovation and positive results.Through deep understanding of customer pain points and financial operations, you will champion solutions that streamline their workflows and remove friction.You will envision the evolving needs of customers, develop and execute a multi-year strategy that addresses their most pressing accounting challenges.You will represent the customer voice within internal teams, articulating their needs with clarity and precision.You will collaborate with engineers to discover innovative solutions that address current problems while optimizing for the future vision.You will participate in customer calls with the sales team, providing expert product insights and fostering successful deals.You will exercise sound judgment and make decisive tradeoffs to prioritize product roadmap features.You will partner with the marketing team to position the accounting solution effectively within the competitive landscape.You will work closely with the support team to ensure seamless resolution of product-related issues.You will represent Chargebee as a domain expert at industry and partner events, customer visits, and other outbound activities.You will be the leader, coach, and mentor to your product managers, helping them grow professionally in their careers.What are we looking for?10+ years of relevant, hands-on product management experience and demonstrated success at leading enterprise/B2B SaaS companies.Industry experience with accounting software or financial management solutions is preferred.Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes.Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to make difficult tradeoff decisions, communicate decisively, and create a roadmap to achieve business goals.Experience translating product vision and strategy into well-articulated business requirements. You should also be adept at utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform product direction and prioritization.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as functional/technical deep dives.Experience working with remote teams is highly preferred.BS or MS in Computer Science or MBA or equivalent industry experience.
