Steelville Telephone Exchange, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Chief Financial Officer. This role requires strong leadership and managerial experience in an Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) with both regulated and non-regulated operations. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, marketing, or a related field is required, along with 4-5 years of relevant management experience. Experience with NISC would be a plus.Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee finance, accounting, budgeting, tax, and audit functions to maintain financial viability.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure accurate financial forecasting and margin management.

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, challenging validity and offering recommendations.

• Manage the budget process, including soliciting and reviewing budget requests from management.

• Present clear budget information and promote responsible budget management across departments.

• Provide strategic financial input and communicate the impact of business decisions to all levels of the organization.

• Analyze financial reports and trends, developing innovative solutions to challenges.

• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet operational needs and improve process efficiency.

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Customer Care and Billing Department, enhancing employee skills through training and mentorship.

• Lead strategic planning efforts, setting goals, objectives, and tracking progress.

• Interface regularly with the CEO/GM and Board of Directors, preparing reports and updates on key metrics.

• Ensure compliance with local, federal, and regulatory requirements, overseeing necessary documentation and filings.

• Stay updated on industry developments, securing loans and grants for facility enhancements.

• Foster relationships with local, state, and national telecommunications organizations.Steelville Telephone Exchange, Inc., founded in 1952, serves over 4,000 customers with a variety of telecommunications services including high-speed internet and fiber deployment.
