Distressed & Special Situations Investment - Senior Associate

We're presently advising a top-performing credit investor on its ambitious 2025 hiring plans. A key hire for the team in London will be a junior to mid-level hire into the fund's credit investment team - as such strong VP-level candidates will also be considered for the role, alongside Associates. Working within a highly-regarded portfolio management and investment research team, the candidate will form part of the investment group and will be responsible for the following:

• Undertaking fundamental analysis across bonds, loans, CDS, claims, equities and other similar assets
• Developing investment ideas in line with the fund's strategy - high yield, stressed/event-driven, distressed and special situations across the capital structure/sectors
• Supporting the senior portfolio management and investment professionals on investment execution and managing positions
• Develop your own origination network and investment capabilities to become a standalone investment professional

• Relevant time spent in a restructuring or M&A advisory role OR
• Several years sell side/advisory experience followed by 1-3 years' credit investment experience
