Sales and Marketing Manager – Daytime Trade Manchester £40000 plus Bonus and Benefits Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead efforts in expanding awareness and revenue streams across daytime trade venues, with a particular focus on event sales and private hire opportunities across multiple sites. With venues located in Manchester City Centre, this role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to implement effective campaigns while enhancing current day trade offerings. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across multiple locations in Manchester.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to promote private hire and event opportunities.
- Collaborate with venue managers to convert daytime trade spaces into desirable private hire venues.
- Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, including seasonal promotions, special events, and loyalty programs.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, website management, and online advertising, to target key demographics and boost engagement.
- Oversee the design and distribution of promotional materials across all sites.
- Serve as the primary contact for corporate event inquiries, ensuring a high lead-to-booking conversion rate.
- Coordinate and oversee events, working closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
- Manage catering bookings for local businesses, ensuring seamless communication and outstanding customer service.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Provide senior management with regular reports on sales performance, campaign outcomes, and market trends.
- 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, ideally with daytime trade venues, restaurants, or event venues.
- Strong understanding of Manchester’s corporate and event markets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and identify new opportunities.
