Responsibilities:

• Monitor & control direct & indirect material inventories to achieve defined stock level.
• Collaborate with production planning on production usage on production forecast.
• Coordinate with sales & production planning department for production materials forecast & usage.
• Prepare material forecast to supplier.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
• Follow up for any materials shortages and provide solutions.
• Minimize obsolete stocks & ensure stocks at minimum liability.
• Support in any other purchasing activities.
• Alert the respective department / PIC on expired materials.
• Assist Purchasing Manager on materials positioning status for top management.
• Initiate and support cost-saving activities.
• Develop and maintain compliance on departmental goals and policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with purchasing systems and tools, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
