Assistant Manager, Business Development (Indoor Sales)

  • Ensure all inquiries and RFQ-related matters are attended to and responded to before the cut-off date.
  • Handle reports such as Risk Management Report, Sales Pipeline Report, and Internal Weekly Meeting.
  • Troubleshoot and track job progress from beginning to end.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Liase with all related departments/divisions to ensure job completion.
  • Maintain good relations with customers.
  • Meet with customers as needed to enhance relations and solve problems.
  • Perform any other job assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Studies / Administration or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Logistics Environment.
  • Knowledge of shipping incoterms and financial terms is required.
  • Basic knowledge in financial analysis.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated and customer-oriented.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Able to work long hours under consistent pressure and multitask.
  • Good presentation and prospecting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
