As a Solution Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing technical presales support to our Enterprise and Business sales teams. This role involves working closely with sales professionals and directly engaging with customers to design, cost, and document tailored, cutting-edge solutions that meet their unique needs. In this position, you will focus on creating forward-thinking and innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will help deliver exceptional outcomes for One NZ Enterprise and Business customers. You will also build and maintain strong peer-to-peer technical relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor in their journey toward success. As part of a high-growth team at the forefront of emerging technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to lead technical and business decisions while ensuring the customer’s voice is represented internally. Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Pre-sales solution design across Enterprise and Business customer segments.
- Being a visible champion of One NZ’s products and service set.
- Help build pipeline opportunities in conjunction with account/sales segment teams.
- Apply a consultative, business-needs approach to customer engagement and solution design, applying knowledge and understanding of all One NZ products & solutions.
- Support Account team(s) to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Build accurate, scalable cost models and provide input into pricing strategy.
- Document solutions through proposals, presentations and up to High Level Solution Overview and handover to delivery.
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- You will have a creative approach to your work, be creative and able to come up with new and innovative solutions and think outside the box.
- You should be a good communicator, both written and verbally, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ideally, you have some experience engaging with Enterprise customers and are comfortable and confident presenting your ideas and solutions to an audience. You should be able to easily translate technical terminology into business language and vice versa.
- Experience with one or more of the following technology areas is preferred: IP Networking, Security solutions, Cloud and Mobility.
- A keen interest in industry trends and emerging technologies is essential. Most importantly, you should bring a great can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
