Responsibilities:
Develops guidelines in liaison with Head of Health and Environment pertaining to occupational health for all Kahramaa employees and premises.
Ensures implementation of health guidelines and procedures to prevent any health hazard in Kahramaa premises and amongst employees.
Conducts periodic inspections to assess the work environment for potential health and safety problems and takes necessary corrective action.
Ensures necessary steps are taken to maintain health standards at Kahramaa facilities in line with established international health and safety standards.
Develops and implements health programs to foster a culture of a healthy working environment at all Kahramaa facilities and amongst all employees.
Liaises with directorates, departments, and sections to address any concerns or situations of potential health hazards.
Conducts frequent inspections of the work environment involving handling hazardous chemicals and materials to ensure strict safety precautions are practiced as required by international and Kahramaa safety guidelines.
Ensures provision of appropriate measures for handling emergency situations involving hazardous chemicals/materials.
Conducts periodic assessments and inspections to analyze the level of pollutants in the work environment and ensures appropriate measures are taken to minimize them as per guidelines.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or Medicine with knowledge of international health and environment standards preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
