Job Summary

Provide technical support for building and data center construction projects by developing 3D BIM models and simulating complex building systems for Architecture, Civil & Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing/Enhancing 3D models for coordination works, shop drawing, combined services drawing (CSD) production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative BIM solutions for construction projects.
• Perform design and constructability studies for Architecture, Civil and Structure, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines of the project virtually before commencing construction.
• Review and ensure consultants’ designs for the project according to the scope of work and specifications according to the defined schedule.
• Issue RFIs, design options/changes, 3D modeling issues, and other design issues to the consultants and follow up closely.
• Work closely with senior design engineers in proposing design solutions based on engineering principles and best practices.
• Actively collaborate with Site Operation & Production teams on the creation of cutting-edge designs, construction, and fabrication processes.
• Lead and guide draftspersons/3D modellers assigned to the project.
• Participate in technical, operational, and BIM discussions to resolve problems related to projects.
• Comply with and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health, and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

Holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Building Technology, or equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as Autodesk Revit is an advantage.
• Other 3D modeling software, such as SketchUp, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor, will also be considered.
• Personal Qualities: Hardworking, willing to learn, adaptable, honest, a team player, and passionate about exploring new technologies.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in preparing 3D models and/or working on building construction sites.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for contributing to BIM development are encouraged to apply.
