Ecommerce coordinators are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an ecommerce business. They commonly work with a team of other employees to ensure that everything runs smoothly from sourcing new products and services to maintaining inventory levels and shipping schedules.Ecommerce coordinators may also be tasked with developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales or grow their company's brand awareness. This might include creating content for social media and updating product listings on online marketplaces.Communicating with customers via email, phone, or social media to address issues or concernsReviewing product listings on sites such as eBay or Amazon to ensure they are consistent with company policiesCreating product descriptions and images that will help customers make informed purchase decisionsAssisting with the planning, scheduling, and promotion of sales events to increase revenueCreating an online store where customers can purchase products or services directly from the companyEducating customers about new products or services offered by the companyCreating email campaigns to promote specific products or services to specific customer groupsMaintaining the company's online presence by monitoring website analytics and making adjustments as neededManaging pricing for products sold online through various channels such as ecommerce sites or mobile applications. Duties vary depending on the employer and position. Some common job duties include creating marketing campaigns, managing inventory levels, providing customer service, and assisting with shipping and returns.Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business or Retail.3-4 years of experience in a support function or e-commerce role.Project management experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large data sets.Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English & Arabic.Solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving ability.Detail-oriented, with a customer-focused approach.Strong organization and time management skills.Self-starter with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.Team player with an agile and fast-paced mindset, can quickly and effectively reprioritize daily tasks based on changing business needs.Strong follow-up and ability to influence business partners.
