Studio Front End Developer

We’re looking for a digital craftsperson, with solid experience building HTML5 banners, including Dynamic Display Banners, eDMs and microsites. You’ll work collaboratively with our team of designers, developers, creatives and producers to help build and deliver digital campaigns and well-engineered front-end stacks for web projects. You’ll also have experience working with Content Management Systems and APIs, including delivering tested, production ready code with an impeccable degree of finish. You’ll also oversee TBWA’s Dynamic Display campaigns, from setting up the campaign in DoubleClick, to developing templates, testing, trafficking and maintaining. Your days will be spent

• Building HTML5 banners, eDMs, websites and applications with a focus on creating delightful user experiences.
• Building and overseeing TBWAs Google DoubleClick Dynamic campaigns.
• Writing clean, reusable, maintainable code, including TDD where applicable.
• Testing your work across devices with a focus on accessibility and a mobile first approach.
• Integrating your work in a variety of CMS and tech stacks.
• Contributing to our overall coding conventions, frameworks, automation tooling and ways of working.
• Researching and learning new technologies and creating proof of concepts.

• Proven experience building HTML5 banners (inc. Dynamic), eDMs and microsites/landing pages.
• Solid fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, vanilla JavaScript (React a bonus) and the latest web standards and browser developments.
• Experience using Ad Serving Platforms including Google DoubleClick.
• Building cross-browser websites focused on best practices, performance and SEO, using browser native capabilities where possible.
• Experience using Figma/Creative Cloud/JIRA/Teams.
• Basic design skills are an added bonus.

• High levels of motivation and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects, sometimes within tight deadlines.

• A passion for automation through continuous integration and continuous delivery (and automated testing).
• An interest in learning about AWS Serverless and backend languages (PHP/Python preferred).
