- Collaborating with facility CNCs and safety leads to monitor and evaluate care outcomes.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for de-escalation strategies and staff training.
- Supporting the implementation of service improvements and education.
- Building strategic relationships with stakeholders to drive evidence-based initiatives.
- Qualification : Approved nursing and midwifery postgraduate qualifications relevant to the field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the Local Health District.
- Registration : Current Registration as a Registered Nurse / Midwife Division 1 with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum seven (7) years full time equivalent post registration experience with at least five (5) years’ full time equivalent experience in the specialty field and approved postgraduate nursing / midwifery qualifications relevant to the field or other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
- Established experience in the development and implementation, including the review of policy, procedures, and education programs.
- Highly developed communication, coaching and facilitation skills with a proven ability to work independently and develop / maintain professional relationships and networks across multiple disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology within a health care setting.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skill in the analysis of clinical practice and the implementation of new clinical practices, including the ability to monitor and evaluate outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead nursing research or large quality projects across multiple services which require large stakeholder engagement.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence, class C and ability to travel within WSLHD.
