Project / Site Engineer (Sewer & Drainage Infrastructure/ Construction)

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols. Review technical drawings and designs for accuracy and ensure they are implemented correctly on-site. Prepare progress reports and documentation for management and stakeholders. Identify potential issues or risks during project execution and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board (PEB) or Building Construction Authority (BCA). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant local experience in civil engineering projects, specifically in infrastructure, sewer & drainage, and roadworks. Certifications: Possession of Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification is preferred. Project Exposure: Experience working on LTA or PUB projects is highly desirable. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills. Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
