Job Highlights Career Development Opportunities Duty Meals, Birthday Leave and Flexible benefits Complimentary Room Nights Discounted Room and Dining Rates We are looking for a Director of Engineering The Director of Engineering is overall in charge of maintenance operations of hotel facilities, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, emergency power system, and other related equipment in accordance with guest service, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation standards and programs. As a Director of Engineering, we rely on you to: Manage departmental operations expenses and prepare for annual budget & Capex. Ensure the hotel’s facilities and MEP systems are in good working condition to support daily operations. Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs to achieve higher reliability and serviceability of hotel facilities. Plan and implement projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce other operating & maintenance costs. Ensure systematic and cost-effective processes for operating, maintaining, and upgrading assets. Identify hazards & potential safety concerns and be accountable for Fire Life Safety in the hotel. Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority requirements. Conduct training programs for team members in accordance with the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual. Conduct Engineering and Fire Life Safety audits. Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual or as directed by the General Manager. We are looking for someone who: Has a degree in Engineering or a relevant field. Has a minimum of five (5) years of advanced knowledge of building management/engineering experience in the hospitality industry. Possesses hands-on experience in hotel operations, repair, and maintenance. Has a strong understanding of building life safety systems and energy management systems.
