Underwater Photographer

We are Opal Diving Club, our goal is to be the leader in diving education, recreational diving adventures, and marine conservation, providing top-tier equipment and expertise for divers of all levels. Opal Diving Club is the signature product of JABA, a subsidiary of Baheej Investment Company and owned by ASFAR, a Saudi Tourism Investment Company under the Public Investment Fund, operates in collaboration with AWN Enterprises and Tamimi Group. As a premier Destination Management Company (DMC), JABA is redefining tourism and leisure in Yanbu and surrounding regions. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Adhere to PADI standards.
• Adhere to Opal Diving Club standards of procedures.
• Capturing high-quality photos and videos of divers, marine life, and underwater landscapes during guided dives and courses.
• Create engaging content for our social media in the form of reels, posts, and videos upon our guidance.
• Editing photos and videos using professional software to ensure optimal quality for clients and promotional use.
• Presenting media packages to clients and handling sales, ensuring a personalized and professional customer experience.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting underwater photography equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Documenting unique marine species and underwater features for promotional or educational purposes.
• Providing engaging visual content for the dive center’s social media, website, and other promotional platforms.
• Prioritizing safety while capturing footage underwater, maintaining proper dive protocols and buoyancy control.
• Collaborating with instructors and dive guides to identify the best moments and locations for photography.
• Tracking and managing all media-related gear, including cameras, housing, lights, and editing software.
• Offering underwater photography workshops or tips to divers who wish to learn or improve their skills.

• Experienced in diving (proof of advanced level qualification and number of dives completed).
• Personal diving accident insurance.
• Minimum 3 years working as underwater photographer/videographer experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Own scuba diving equipment.
• Own professional photography/videography equipment.

• Excellent communicator and public speaker.
• Able to work with different cultures and nationalities.
• Ability to self-motivate and deliver to agreed deadlines.
