Job Title: Platform Engineer (DevOps) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Contract We're looking for a talented Platform Engineer (DevOps) to join our team and help build, maintain, and secure our platform infrastructure. If you have experience with Ruby on Rails , Kibana , MongoDB , PostgreSQL , and Rancher , we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do: Ruby on Rails Development:

Build and maintain scalable backend systems.
Optimize performance and ensure code quality.
Work with front-end developers to connect user interfaces with server-side logic.

Database Management:

Design and optimize databases for MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Monitor performance, manage backups, and resolve database issues.

Monitoring & Observability:

Use Kibana to set up dashboards and analyze performance metrics.
Implement alerts for real-time issue detection and resolution.

Container Orchestration:

Manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
Streamline deployment pipelines and ensure scalability.

Infrastructure & DevOps:

Automate CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
Work with the DevOps team to enhance workflows and ensure system reliability.

Teamwork & Documentation:

Collaborate with QA, security, and product teams.
Document system configurations and processes for future use.

What You'll Need: Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and MVC architecture.
Hands-on experience with Kibana, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Rancher.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with security best practices and web application firewalls (WAF).

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Adaptability to a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred:

Certification in security frameworks or cloud platforms.
Experience with tools like Grafana or Prometheus.
Knowledge of microservices and API development.
