As a prominent Talent Acquisition Consultancy, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional recruitment solutions across various sectors, including Sports and Leisure. Our goal is to identify talented professionals with the right skills to meet the demands of the industry.In the role of Procurement Buyer for Sports Utilities, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing a wide range of sports utilities products, ensuring that we meet the needs of our clients while maintaining quality and cost-efficiency. Your analytical skills and market insight will play a crucial role in driving strategic purchasing decisions.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers of sports utilities products.Evaluate and negotiate supplier contracts to secure the best terms and conditions.Collaborate with product development teams to understand their requirements and ensure timely procurement.Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize stock replenishment.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of products.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the sports or retail sectors.Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on achieving cost savings.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.A passion for sports and understanding of the sports utilities market is a plus.Company Industry:RecruitmentPlacement FirmExecutive SearchDepartment / Functional Area:BuyingPurchaseProcurementKeywords:Procurement Buyer - Sports Utilities
