Manage the full spectrum of architecture design for different asset types across THE LINE. Serves as a capable professional in an architectural design team, leading work on specific elements of a project with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or senior team member.Key accountabilities:Responsible for the design quality and coordination of design between different design streamsManages compliance with masterplan, vision and engineering integrationManages Safety in DesignLiaison with delivery teams, integration of designsRole and responsibilities:Assist the Design Managers in developing NEOM architecture design styleManaging the design by creative approach and aesthetic designResponsible to deliver various architectural design types: residential, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, etc.Strong ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and presentationsQualitative architectural design review, comment, and recommendationDraft comprehensive architectural sets from concept until detailed design documentsDevelop and review architectural asset briefsPrepare SoW, specifications, reports and related data tables.Take initiative to develop design manuals, standard design documentsTechnical detailing and construction administration experienceResearch on new technologies and trendsProduce deliverables in accordance with NEOM standards and policies.Knowledge:Understanding of scope definition and scope interface and ability to transmit the same to others.Knowledge of international standards, policies, codes and procedures and ability to transmit the same to others.Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirementsKnowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.Developed knowledge of Sustainable Design principles.Skills:Outstanding creative, design skillsOut of the box thinking and seeing the big pictureExcellent conceptual and design skills, with emphasis on aestheticsCreative thinking and visioning and innovationFluent in writing and speaking English, spoken and writtenProactive, reliable, accountable, consistent, independent, clever, nice, generousExcellent relationship-building and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and a methodical approach to work.Flexibility and attitude towards company objectives.Cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders.Commitment to innovation and design excellenceOutstanding presentation skills.The ability to convey a clear project narrative and conceptual ideas to both internal and external stakeholdersExcellent ability in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite; Grasshopper, V-Ray, any other illustrative technologiesEffective use of electronic processes and procedures to increase quality and efficiencySolid knowledge of products, materials, zoning/building codes and construction methodsStrong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines on budget and on timeA keen eye for attention to detail and accuracyProactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in response to direction from project managers, directors and partnersA team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaboratingExperience:10+ years post undergraduate of outstanding architectural design and management experienceDesign experience in various architectural types: residential, commercial, public, healthcare, educational, etc.Prior experience within design management and design commissions for large infrastructure projectsQualifications:B.Arch or B.Sc, in Architecture from a recognized universityInternational Accreditations preferred (RIBA, AIA, or equivalent)Sustainability Certification preferred (LEED, PQP, or equivalent)Why choose AtkinsRéalisYour difference makes a difference.
