We are looking for a talented and skilled Chief Electrical and Automation Engineer in Lime & Dololime Plant to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for planning and executing all Electrical and Automation field-related works for the Lime Plant and overseeing the maintenance of plant machinery and its equipment. To analyze, observe, organize, plan, and ensure the plant maintenance-related activities are established and implemented in order to prevent untimely breakdowns. Ensures all machines & equipment are in good working order.Duties may include but will not be limited to:Make, review regularly, and establish the planned preventive maintenance plan and initiate necessary revisions to improve equipment availability.Control Electrical & Automation maintenance budget and improvements in a cost-effective manner.Report about major potential failures, problems with action plans for repairs to the higher level to finalize immediate opportunities for attending to the issues.Prepare, review, and establish the economic level of spares and material stock.Ensure and supervise effective repair planning and major overhauls to acceptable standards.Prepare maintenance reports and check and approve permits, purchase requisition slips, material issue slips, etc.Technical review and recommendation for all project/spares/equipment for Lime Plant related offers from the OEM Suppliers. Design review and scope defining of the Technological Supplier. Responsible for project planning and monitoring the execution of work.Enforce staff disciplines and ensure high standards of maintenance housekeeping and plant cleanliness.Perform other tasks given by the superior from time to time.Evaluate the individual performance of subordinates and identify training needs and design training programs to improve the capability of each individual.Promote safety consciousness among subordinates and undertake all necessary control measures to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.Work as per company regulations.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.Must have 8-10 years or more of experience in project execution and maintenance of Electrical machines and Automation in Lime Plant.Sound technical knowledge in Plant automation, i.e., PLC, DC & AC drives, and related software and equipment.
