Experience: 7-9 years
Job Description:
As a senior software engineer in our team, you will contribute to all aspects of backend and get involved in all areas of software engineering: infrastructure, data, application, deployment, monitoring, architecture, code reviews, pair and mob programming, etc.
You will also lead a few initiatives with your design and architectural know-how while collaborating with other Architects and Managers.
We own everything we do: our successes as well as our mistakes and setbacks. We are looking for someone reliable, curious, and bold. You should be comfortable sharing your knowledge, experience, and opinions while appreciating input from your peers.
Your Day-to-Day:
You will focus on delivering high-quality solutions using your Java and Kotlin skills.
You will work as part of an agile team, planning, refining, delivering, and inspecting sprint deliveries.
You will work closely with product and design to understand context and vision.
You will collaborate with your peers across teams to make platform improvements and increase learning opportunities in a supportive environment.

Everything is hosted on Amazon Web Services - we use managed cloud services as much as possible.
We believe that you have:
6 to 8 years of experience in software development
5+ years of experience building distributed systems
5+ years of experience with SQL and data modeling
Experience working with continuously delivered systems
A results and delivery-oriented mindset
A genuine learning and knowledge-sharing spirit
Unix/Linux/Docker experience
Interest in or experience in the FinTech industry
