· Prepare reconciliation of monthly WHT report · Prepare payment request for monthly tax payment for approval · Prepare & submit monthly tax return for vendor WHT & prepaid corporate tax · Monitoring tax compliance of the company · Prepare draft CIT for end year closing purpose · Forward tax schedule & relevant information to external tax agent for their tax computation preparation · Maintain outstanding/completed tax queries listing, update latest status and deadline · Liaise with external tax auditor · Coordinate with GL team to furnish/update information requested by tax auditor · Attend tax court or tax audit closing meeting with tax auditor · Prepare reply letter for tax queries/objections · Appointing tax consultant where necessary, liaise and coordinate with the appointed tax Consultants for tax audit, tax objections and tax appeal · Liaise with respective account officer to collect necessary information for TP documentation reporting · Liaise with external tax consultant on TP documentation requirement · Other ad-hoc tax related assignment · To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard Minimum Requirements: Degree in Accountancy/CPA/ACCA 5 years of relevant experience Interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in MS office, especially in MS Excel, Word, Power Point Ability to interact with all levels of personnel (internal and external) Pro-active, independent and meticulous with attention to details and figures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organization and multi-tasking skills to drive execution, policy compliance and adherence to procedures Practical and hand-on person who is capable of working independently with minimum supervision Knowledge in the application of financial reporting standard (“FRS”) Liaise with external auditors on accounting and financial matters #J-18808-Ljbffr
