The Opportunity Join us as our Interim General Manager of Operations (New Zealand) . Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for strategic planning and supply chain management? As the General Manager of Operations & part of the NZ Distributor Lead Team, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the supply chain in the New Zealand market. This includes demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, delivery and installation operations. Your role is crucial in increasing market share and driving profitable growth in both the short and long term. There is a strong focus on productivity gains & driving efficiencies out of our new purpose-built Distribution Centre in East Tāmaki (and Christchurch). You will also ensure the delivery of a world-class end-to-end supply chain experience for finished goods and spare parts across retail, builder, and ecommerce channels, aligned with F&P and Haier brands. This is where you come in You will be an experienced leader in the logistics field with broad team management experience. You run a tight ship, will roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. - Oversee demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, delivery, and installation operations.
- Ensure an exceptional end-to-end supply chain experience for all customers and channels.
- Align supply chain operations with the strategic goals of Fisher & Paykel and Haier brands.
- Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the supply chain operational team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operations leadership.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to drive change and inspire a team towards achieving business goals.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
