We are a Singapore-based hardware manufacturer and trading company. Due to expansion, we are looking for a welding trainer responsible for educating and training our sales and marketing team in the skills and techniques required for welding, equipping them with in-depth product knowledge to enable them to achieve their sales objectives successfully. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver comprehensive welding training programs for employees Teach various welding techniques Provide hands-on training and demonstration to ensure practical skill development Curriculum development: Design and update training materials, lesson plans and curriculum to meet industry standards and technological advancements Incorporate safety protocols and procedures into all training modules Assessment and evaluation: Assess trainees' skills and knowledge through tests, practical exams and performance evaluations Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help trainees improve their welding knowledge Safety & compliance: ensure all training activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards Educate employees, customers and stakeholders on proper safety practices and the use of personal protective equipment Stay updated with the latest welding technologies, related-product and industry trends. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and technical knowledge Requirements: Extensive experience in welding with proficiency in various welding equipment and knowledge Certification in welding or certified welding trainer/educator Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and deliver engaging, interesting, interactive and effective training programs Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Engineering At least 5 years of stand-up training experience and curriculum development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
