Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

Role Objective s The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods and inventory. This role involves managing and leading a team of warehouse staff, implementing procedures, and maintaining a well-organized and productive warehouse environment. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and provide guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring they work efficiently, safely, and meet performance targets.
• Schedule work shifts, assign tasks, and monitor staff attendance.
• Monitor and optimize workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are up to date.
• Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all warehouse staff adhere to safety regulations.
• Generate and maintain reports related to warehouse performance, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Enforce quality control standards for receiving and picking processes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

• Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma (A degree in supply chain management or related field is a plus).
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and material handling tools.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in warehousing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
